The primary function and role of the Sr Applications Engineer role is to contribute to the development, implementation and support of new application projects targeting customer products in the Mobile space and Mobile ecosystem. She/he will be in charge of developing HW and SW functions for RF applications and location aware devices.
Develop applications that effectively accomplish client objectives and user needs.
Design HW and write SW code for applications.
Remodel and adapt applications as needed to optimize performance.
Identify specific customer and client needs and preferences related to application.
Test applications extensively to ensure they are error and bug free.
Act as a technical advisor to all departments.
Liaise with sales & Marketing departments to identify technical requirements and develop solutions.
Determine project constraints including estimated time and costs.
Act as a technology expert advisor for our products.
Connect with customers to analyze user experience and gain constructive feedback.
Customize specialized applications according to client needs.
Create and present application prototypes.
Collaborate with engineering and programming departments.
Present new project proposals to sales department based on customer analysis.
Contribute to sales presentations showcasing all technical features and processes.
Maintain positive client relationships.
Continuously assess & improve process & tools.
10+ years of industry experience in a fast-paced tech company – mobile/handset a big plus, including direct management and delivery of large, technically complex product development programs.
Demonstrated technical skills including experience and thorough understanding of mobile architecture (HW/SW), RF/Transceiver component integration, SW stacks integration/Validation, real-time SW (Android OS a plus), mobile platform test/validation/manufacturing/certification.
Previous software engineering background with solid technical skills with ability to manage technical projects in cross-functional environment and across multiple regions.

Superior organizational skills: notes, formal documentation, task assignment.
Proven ability to understand and breakdown complex, multifaceted programs and projects into manageable pieces, organize cross-functionally and drive execution.

Currently, we are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support Qorvo's Mobile Products business.
Qorvo Mobile China Sales Team was established in 2002. Over the past 16 years, we have expanded our annual business revenue tremendously, supporting more than 250 local customers, and became a valued business partner for many Chinese local handset brands.
Qorvo IS Team provides exceptional customer service to our internal customer, Mobile & Infrastructure Worldwide Sales Teams. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the following roles and responsibilities:
Provide day to day order management, support both internal and external customers such as Qorvo Local Sales & China key account customers.
Communicate effectively with U.S. Mobile Sales & Demand Management, as well as Qorvo Supply Chain Management to ensure on time product delivery (OTD) to external customers. OTD is a key measurement of Qorvo’s business performance.
Coordinate weekly and monthly customer forecast update.
Keep track of price quote for distributors and key accounts.
Ensure timely/accurate processing of new orders and change orders, including communications with customers where needed.
Ensure customer backlog is accurate at all time.
Ensure timely/accurate processing of sample requests, including communications with customers where needed.
Proactively monitor and resolve credit issues to ensure shipments remain on schedule.
Proactively track order status to ensure timely shipments, while keeping account manager(s) and customer updated as necessary.

Support RD/QE for BI, ESD data analysis.
Experience on multi-sites test programming, tester platform conversion.
Hardware design with Altium software.
DFT review with designer to optimize test method.
Program coding generate, debugging & releasing.
ATE evaluation report with yield, bin summary, distribution analysis & full temp test.
Subcon sustaining for low yield & Test related issue.
ATE support for FA case to analyze failure with ATE test data.
Support RD/QE for BI, ESD data test & analysis.
Test time reduction to lower test cost.
Identify EA, participate in evaluating of significant EA, and renew the corresponding info in time.
Routine monitoring and checking for internal system operation.
Responsible for the inspection and management of special equipment.
Familiar with ASL1K/ETS300 test platform & Test theory of analog device.
Strong interpersonal skills, impartial and active working attitude.
Relevant work experience at least 5 years.
Bachelor or above degree.
to use PADS/PROTEL to design PCB.
Good English & Chinese communication skills and computer operation skills.
Familiar with basic electronic components and footprints.
Proficient in using soldering equipment.
Recognize electronic components, such as: capacitor, inductor, resistor, sockets, etc.
Soldering Evaluation Kits for new project and replace ICs (QFN and CSP footprint) and electronic components for AE/QA.
Utilize soldering tools properly to assemble target board and qualify the performance.
Lab material management and sorting the classification of electronic components.
Follow test procedure to test ICs and EVKs.
Soldering small package chips and components experience for board service in smartphone design/manufactory (such as: Huaqin, Longcheer, etc), which is preferred.
Can use office software to work.

Hands-on position to support and manage computer systems for Qorvo Shanghai offices which includes computers, network, server, storage and some of application systems.
Following Qorvo IT policy and procedures to work closely with IT members in different locations and provide on-site users best support with priority, and take care of some other motorized tasks.
Ensure security of data, servers, network access, and backup systems.
Ensure the operation of personal PCs, network, servers and backup systems.
Implement and maintain IT disaster recovery for servers and local PC.
Provide back-up and redundancy of critical hardware and network systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PRE-REQUISITES
5+ years’ proven working experience as an IT specialist or relevant experience.
Service oriented and good communication and team player love for collaboration with colleagues.
Familiar with Microsoft O/S, office products, OA system etc., and experienced in the problem solving for users.
Hands-on experience with computer build, network setup, server configuration, and related trouble shootings.
Willing to learn and quicker learner for new knowledge.
Good spoken and written English & Mandarin required.
BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field.
Hands-on experience with macro script in Excel is desired.
With experience in the business system example ERP, SAP, CRM or other systems is a plus.
