Purpose of the job:

Responsible for overall products quality/Reliability and Cost inclusive of outsourcing products.

Ensures seamless processing of responsible product lines between wafer fabrication, chip testing, device assembly & moulding, and device test.

Ensures that product data and product performance support data sheet content.

Designs, implements and maintains product related systems, processes, equipment and tools to support product development and product sustaining.

Responsibilities:

Implements and tracks projects for yield/reliability improvement, and cost reduction for assigned products.

Coordinates problem solving activities between assembly/test and wafer fab.

Monitors yield, reliability and cost of assigned products and ensure they are within established goals. Also monitors electrical characteristics for parametric shifts.

Provides project support both as project leaders and as project team members in support of new product development and operations improvement projects.

Establishes & maintains documentation for product specifications. Ensures all assembly, chip, test specifications are updated to the latest process or to the best practice.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree (Electrical, Microelectronic or Mechanical Engineering preferred) from an accredited university or equivalent education/experience.

Relevant working experience in semiconductors or electronics desirable.

Must be fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.

Training or course work in DOE, SPC, TQM, project management and time management.

Assigned product engineering experience above 3 years
